King Charles III Impressed by Diverse Congregation Drawn to Traditional Latin Mass at Birmingham Oratory
The king, who on Wednesday became the first monarch to visit to the Oratory established by St. John Henry Newman, was interested to learn of the large and diverse attendance at the TLM.
BIRMINGHAM, England — During a visit to the Birmingham Oratory on Wednesday, King Charles III took a keen interest not only in the large number of faithful who attend liturgies there and their diversity of backgrounds, but also that most of them are attracted to the traditional Latin Mass.
“Over a thousand people come to Mass here at the weekend,” said the provost of the Oratory of St. Philip Neri, Father Ignatius Harrison. “The best attended is the traditional Latin Mass,” he added, “and what is most interesting is that it’s the most diverse Mass, ethnically speaking, during the whole weekend.”
Father Harrison said that many of the worshippers are Asians and Africans and that a significant number of them are students from Birmingham’s three universities.
Charles was interested in that, he said, and the fact that an increasing number of Chinese Catholics, particularly from Hong Kong, are attending the TLM at the Oratory. “It's a pleasure for me and the fathers to be able to say we have a very diversified congregation, really diversified, and many of them come for the traditional Latin Mass,” said Father Harrison.

The king has seen and commented on a pretty universal event the TLM contains many of the unifiers needed- most notably it provides a common and precise liturgy of the sacrifice on Calvary! Pity that so much of the hierarchy of the RCC is so reluctant to recognize this.
Here is a good opportunity for him to renounce the heresy of his ancestor and get rid of his title head of his church and bring most of a nation to God's true Church. But like most protestant pastors, there is much for him to lose in earthly terms.
